1.4 How information is collected: Some information is provided to the Party directly by Elections Canada such as a list of electors that include names and addresses. We also collect information from publicly available data sources.
We also obtain other information that Canadians choose to give us. This may occur in a variety of ways, including:
– When visiting our website for the purpose of becoming involved with the Party as a member, volunteer, or donor including by filling in a registration form.
– When subscribing to our communications, such as email updates or text message alerts.
– When registering for an event or at a Party convention.
– When completing any other form on a Party website, including online petitions and policy proposals.
1.5 Information collected: The information we collect may include: Contact and identification information, such as your name, address, telephone numbers, age if you are not yet of voting age, citizenship or permanent resident status, e-mail address and social media contacts.
Donation information such as date, frequency, and amount of your donation.
Financial information that we need to process donations, membership fees or event fees e.g. payment methods and preferences, billing information (e.g. credit card number and expiry date).
Information Canadians share about their voting preferences or issues that they have communicated to us about.
2. Use and Disclosure of Personal Information:
2.1. Internal Use: Personal information collected by Canadian Future Party shall be used exclusively for internal party activities and communications, respecting the privacy preferences of party members.
2.2. Third Parties: Canadian Future Party shall not disclose personal information to third parties without the explicit consent of the individuals, except when required by law or for essential party operations (e.g., payment processors for donations).
2.3. Sensitive Information: The party shall exercise extra caution and seek explicit consent when processing sensitive personal information, such as health-related data or political beliefs.
